This is simply made for fun. (And because Paul and Dawn should be together.) Ikarishipping is a fan made relationship between Paul and Dawn from Pokemon.

This animation was created for 3D Animation 1, a subject at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, QLD. It was my first time working with 3D and I can certainly say it won't be my last. I used Autodesk Maya to model, shade/texture, animate and light my scene, and Adobe After Effects to composite the scene onto a background.

Linley animation is a cool 3D interior animation.

My final project for VFS, a sci-fi motion graphics animation that portrays how the misuse of technology could take humanity to see the end of their existence. It is a reminder that in order to achieve greatness we have to work together towards understanding one another and use the resources that we have as intelligent beings to care for ourselves and others as equals.

Daydream Nimbus - Astronaut is a short 3D animated cartoon.

Taken entirely from in-game footage I came up with the concept for the video, directed other players to get the shots we needed and put together the edit.

This is a cool short 3D Interior Animation.

We designed a 3D animation based on imagery from the four sonnets which accompany the concertos. This whole animated world of seasons moved and reacted to the live music played by the orchestra. Designed in 3D Studio Max, we built the animation in Unity 3D and wrote software in Max/ MSP to interpret the inputs. Through eight microphones positioned across the orchestra this bespoke software listened to and diagnosed the music, which in turn dictated the behaviour of the on-screen animation. The performance was for one night only at Bristol Old Vic with Daniel Hope and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. It was a brilliant event to be involved in; an extraordinary technical challenge and a great chance to experiment and entertain, which is what Play Nicely are all about.

Yes, we all know that Florence has amazing architecture, everything is ancient, delicious food and every ninja turtle's artwork can be found in this city. But did you know this????... You can find a paper doll donald duck and pokemon dancing together to shitty music coming from an ancient boombox on the street!!! Okay, I kind of want to go back to Florence now.

Using some of the same motions from our original Ninja Toy project, we created a new cel-shaded demo to illustrate the flexibility of motion capture technology within animated productions.

Well here is the final render and final video for UNI. This was made by Iain Harkins and Simon Wells for a group project. Finally we have finished and can rest. We are both happy with the final movie and we both learnt a lot from the whole process of production. I would like to thank Jane Tedman for doing the music and sound effects for us, she did a great job and it matches the mood of the story.

Official music video for KT+SOS "Wide Open Plain" directed by Miriam Bennett. "Wide Open Plain" from THE SHAPE THE COLOR THE FEEL is now available on iTunes. "Wide Open Plain" is the seventh music video to be released for THE SHAPE THE COLOR THE FEEL visual album. The video was shot at KT+SOS headquarters in Nashville’s Silver Point Studios where many of the films for The Shape The Color The Feel were made and where the band wrote much of the record. Director Miriam Bennett has directed several videos for KT+SOS including “Best Friends’ Love” and “Blue Hotel,” both of which premiered earlier this year on Esquire.com. “Wide Open Plain” was the first video to be shot for The Shape The Color The Feel, establishing the project’s emphasis on collaboration from the get go as “Hangover” director and album artist Jessie English (see the mini-doc on the SHAPE COLOR FEEL art exhibit), assisted Bennett on the shoot, along with Jason Smythe, Silver Point Studios exec and director of “Looking Around.” Adam Smalley, who directed the forthcoming short film, Let Me Go, assisted on the set in Cleveland, where Bennett filmed the dance sequence choreographed and performed by Ryan Seitheach McMahon. The Shape The Color The Feel is a visual album released by Kate Tucker and the Sons of Sweden on their own Red Valise Recordings label. Raising over $21,000 via Kickstarter, the band embarked on what the Huffington Post called an “admirably ambitious project to bring the best of the past and the present together, to recapture some of what music has lost to technology.” The band invited ten different filmmakers to make short films or music videos for each of the songs on the album, giving them complete creative control. These aural and visual pairings continue to premiere while in the meantime, Kate Tucker and Miriam Bennett are producing a documentary about the creative community emerging out of the project.

Enter “Design Your Dream Hangout” where kids can create their own personalized room, choosing from a ton of cool colors, themes, soundtracks and stuff — and put it all into an awesome space. Then they can rate other kids’ creations in the Prize Gallery, doling out some gold stickers themselves, for a change. In Design Your Dream Hangout, kids have the opportunity to design any of three environments: a treehouse, a sports court, and a game room. These spaces would definitely be a must have in any kid’s mansion— if only mom and dad would bump their allowance by a couple of million;) For the design tool, we fashioned an isometric 3D design environment, offering room designers a near-360° perspective on their creations without the technical overhead needed for full 3D.
